NuAngel disposable nursing pads are made from three special layers of biodegradable materials: a soft hypoallergenic 100% cotton top layer, an absorbent middle layer without the use of super absorbent polymers and a breathable water-resistant back layer. NuAngel disposable nursing pads are absorbent without the use of SAP’s (super absorbent polymers) as found in other disposable pads and diapers. SAP's are not used in NuAngel nursing pads for the following reasons: when SAP's swell the gel reduces pad breathability and gel may leak on the breast.
