It's Christmas, and Dog Detective Cluehound and Sergeant Squirrel are decorating their neighboorhood when a very merry someone grabs their Christmas tree and quickly takes off. STOP THAT . . . SANTA!
And so begins a chase to catch the thief. Wherever they look, Santa is one step ahead of the hapless Detective, until--WHOOSH--Santa escapes at the last moment in a daring reindeer rescue.
